On the occasion of the 2012 exhibition dedicated to Dutch painting master Vermeer, the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art commissioned INAMATT to prepare special merchandise. The traditional blue colour, a historical connection between the commercial route between Deshima and the Netherlands in the 17th Century and the work of Vermeer, became the starting point of the design.
