House Amsterdam

Interior design

The heart of this small split-level residential in Amsterdam, is the kitchen. When asked to renovate this space, INAMATT fluidly combined the old and the new. In the kitchen area modern materials merge with vintage furniture. This play of contrasts is continued by tiling up the walls to a point that’s much higher than regular, with bright tiles that reflect the light that enters from the outside, creating shifts between light and dark. Within the 55 m2 house, as much space has been left for living as possible, integrating the areas of utility, storage, cupboards, bathroom and toilet and all technical installations, within one closed of functional zone.
